In this paper,the modeling and kinematics simulation of the tilling mechanism for the hori-zontal-vertical convertible rolled mill with CATIA software is described.First built the 3D model of the titling mechanism,and accomplished mechanism assembly in the virtual environment,then carried on kinematics simu-lation and interference checking of the mechanism,and then analyzed the rationality of mechanism design and as-sembly.This method shortened the cycle of developing new products,ensured that the design results were relia-ble.It has a guiding significance to the design of complex motion machinery.
