Three main ways of increasing strength of hot rolled rebar including microalloying,ultrafine grain and thermomechanical treatment were introduced in this paper.The corresponding controlled cooling process and the influence of controlled cooling process parameters on the microstructure and properties of the products were analyzed.The equipment layout was also introduced in this paper.And the layout of the cooling box on the controlled cooling line,the selection of the water cooling unit and the influence of cooling water quality and pressure on cooling effect were analyzed.
