Nanocomposite humidity sensors were fabricated by solution mixing based on reduced graphene oxide( R-GO)and quaternized poly(4-vinylpyridine)(Q-P4VP). Investigations on the humidity sensing properties of the composite at room temperature revealed that R-GO effectively enhanced the conductivity of the composite under dry atmosphere,with impedance as low as 106Ω even at 2%RH. Meanwhile,it showed good humidity sensitivity and sensing linearity(R2 = 0. 995)in the low humidity range(2-15%RH). Furthermore,it registered fast response(response time for adsorption and desorption of 3 s and 25 s,respectively). The composite sensor is promising for the applications in the detection of low humidity.
