毕业设计（论文）是高等院校本科教学的重要环节，是对整个本科教学过程的总结。本文基于南京市问卷调查数据，比较本科往届毕业生和应届毕业生毕业设计（论文）写作情况，发现77.6%的调查对象认为有必要开展毕业设计（论文）工作，近六成调查对象的论文选题来源于导师，应届生参与论文指导课程的比例较往届生有所上升。同时，在毕业设计（论文）教学中，学校、导师和学生三方面仍存在一定问题。为提高本科毕业设计（论文）教学质量，本文提出相应的对策建议。

The dissertation is an important part in undergraduate education and a summary of the teaching process. Based on a questionnaire survey in Nanjing City, this paper compared the status of dissertation between the former graduates and the se-niors. We found that 77.6%of the respondents thought it's nec-essary to write a dissertation and about 60% of them chose the topics provided by their thesis advisors. The percentage of taking part in thesis guidance course for the seniors was higher than that for the former graduates. Meanwhile, it's found that there were problems in colleges and universities, thesis advisors, and stu-dents themselves. The relevant suggestion was put forward to im-prove the quality of the dissertations.
