根据速率方程和光传输方程,在975nm泵浦光和1533nm信号光的作用下,对10cm长掺铒波导放大器,数值分析了前向和反向二种泵浦方式对波导内部的能级粒子数分布与放大自发辐射的影响,为评价器件的增益与噪声性能起着指导作用。

Based on the rate equations and the light propagation equations, the effects of the forward- and backward- pumped styles on the energy state population distribution and amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) of the Er3+-doped 10 cm long waveguide amplifier are analyzed, when it run by the pumping wavelength of 975 nm and the central signal wavelength of 1533 nm. The simulated results play a guiding role in evaluating the gain and noise performance of this kind device.
