介绍云桂铁路石林隧道、老笑一号隧道浅埋段有边桩盖挖法和无边桩盖挖法2个施工实例，总结铁路双线大断面隧道浅埋段采用盖挖法施工的关键技术，对大断面隧道浅埋段采用盖挖法施工的适用条件进行探讨，提出采用盖挖法替代浅埋暗挖法施工的条件，即当交通、水电等外部施工条件较好时，在一般地层隧道覆跨比为0．4～0．6的超浅埋段，岩溶洼地覆跨比为0．6～1．0的浅埋段可考虑采用盖挖法替代浅埋暗挖法施工。
介紹雲桂鐵路石林隧道、老笑一號隧道淺埋段有邊樁蓋挖法和無邊樁蓋挖法2箇施工實例，總結鐵路雙線大斷麵隧道淺埋段採用蓋挖法施工的關鍵技術，對大斷麵隧道淺埋段採用蓋挖法施工的適用條件進行探討，提齣採用蓋挖法替代淺埋暗挖法施工的條件，即噹交通、水電等外部施工條件較好時，在一般地層隧道覆跨比為0．4～0．6的超淺埋段，巖溶窪地覆跨比為0．6～1．0的淺埋段可攷慮採用蓋挖法替代淺埋暗挖法施工。

Covered excavation methods with and without side piles of shallow-buried section of Shilin tunnel and Laoxiao No.1 tunnel on Yunan-Guilin railway are presented.Key construction technologies of covered excavation method of large cross-section and shallow-buried tunnel are summarized.Applicable conditions of covered excavation method are discussed ,and the conditions that mining method can be replaced by covered excavation methods are proposed The men-tioned conditions includes:cover-span ratio at normal strata is 0.4 ~0.6,and cover-span ratio at karst strata is 0.6 ~1 .0.
