The research developments in Ni-P-BN (h) composite coating prepared by electroless deposit or electrodeposition method were summarized. Recent research status on Ni-P-BN(h) composite coating were introduced including structure,microhardness,wear resistance,corrosion resistance and foul resistance. Influence of different process conditions on Ni-P-BN(h) composite coating structure and properties were reviewed and further study problems were also discussed.
