The aluminum conductor composite core(ACCC) transmission lines prepared by fiber composite core and heat-resistant aluminum alloy wire have the following characteristics: light weight, high strength, small sag, large carrying capacity, etc. When used in the large crossing transmission lines, under the condition of the unchanged original tower, base and line corridor, the ACCC could increase the transmission capacity, reduce the investment outlay, and construct conveniently. It has significant economical value and social benefit. This paper introduces the carbon fiber composite core wire line applied to the capacity increasing of large crossing transmission lines.
