The leakage on subsea pipeline may cause serious consequences,which not only inter-rupts the transportation and production of oil and gas,but also causes marine pollution.In order to ensure the safety production of subsea pipelines,it is feasible to use on-line fiber sensing tech-nology to monitor the subsea pipelines,although the installation of the fiber onto the subsea pipe-lines is a special problem during the operation.In this study,a new clamp was designed,which can fix the fiber to the subsea pipelines during the installation,and solve the problem of engineering, by then the on-line global monitoring on the pipeline leakage can be achieved.
