The fundamental of presulfiding hydrotreatment catalyst was summarized. The current situation of presulfurization technology with different curing agents and national hydrotreatment catalysts technology were introduced. It was pointed out that the ex-situ presulfiding would continue to replace the ex-situ presulfiding, the future development of presulfurization catalyst research direction and focus was suggested.
