There are filament breakage and sliding wire probl-ems in steel stranded wire of big or middle bridge while stretc-h-draw. In order to eliminate or reduce the occurrence of such a quality problem, the author has done a lot of work and su-mmarizes some experience. This article analyzes these probl-ems which are hoping to help for the quality control of prest-ressed stretch-draw in big or middle bridge.
