The MRC technology is a widely used natural gas liquefaction technology ,and it has the advantages of simple process ,compact layout ,less equipment ,etc .,but the liquid-flooding phenomenon of cold box (plate-fin heat exchanger) occurs easily ,which leads to the yield reduc-tion or production interruption .This article describes the cold box liquid-flooding phenomenon of Zhuhai natural gas liquefaction plant ,such as pressure ,liquid level ,differential pressure and temperature ,analyses the reasons and proposals treatment methods . It is helpful for similar LNG plants to judge and handle the cold box liquid-flooding problem in time .
