This paper introduces two types of power-substitution test, which is traditional measurement method and improved measurement method. Combining the standards’ requirements and practical experience and maintaining measurement accuracy the same level, this paper compares these two measurement methods, and finds out that the improved measurement method is faster and more efficient than the traditional measurement method. This will play a positive role in promoting the development of the industry and technological innovation and in improving the professional level and economic efficiency of the testing.
