This paper discusses the internal factors factor such as the endogenous hormone affects plant somatic embryogenesis. And also discusses the external outside factors such as culture medium,exogenous hormones,and types of explants,temperature and light affect plant somatic embryogenesis. The research prospect of plant somatic embryogenesis was put forward.
