Taking turbine reformation in Yankuang Guotai Chemical Engineering Company Ltd. as an example, necessity and feasibility were proved for double extraction condensation turbine reformed to back pressure extraction turbine;author has introduced the reformation situation of turbine and the running situation after its reformation;has compared the running parameters before and after reformations of turbine. Result indicates that the total refor-mation fee of this project is about 3 650 000 Yuan RMB, the totally expense for selecting and purchasing the similar electric generator set is about more than 20 000 000 Yuan RMB, the saved expense for only this one item exceeds 16 000 000 Yuan RMB.
