美国“页岩气革命”正在改变世界能源,中国作为页岩气储量世界第一大国,页岩气的开采已成为国家能源发展的战略重点,呈现出加速发展之势。然而,页岩气的开采所面临的生态环境问题也引起人们的高度关注。本文分析了美国“页岩气革命”的发展特点和趋势,研究了美国页岩气开采所面临主要“四大环境问题”,如水资源的大量消耗,水体和土壤的污染,甲烷泄漏风险,地质风险。中国在未来页岩气的大规模开采中,如何吸取美国经验,尽早出台有关页岩气开采的法律法规和环境标准,做好初期页岩气资源勘探及周围环境影响评价、形成页岩气开采过程中全流程监管、建立政府领导下的环境应急管理机制,实现页岩气绿色开采,不仅具有理论价值,也有现实意义。

American Shale Gas revolution is changing the world's energy, China has the biggest Shale Gas reserves in the world, the exploitation of Shale Gas has become the focus of national energy development strategy, showing accelerated development trend. However, the ecological and environmental problems faced by the mining of Shale Gas is also a cause for great concern. This paper analyzes the characteristics and development trend of American Shale Gas revolution, researching four environmental issues facing by Shale Gas exploitation in the United States, such as large consumption of water resources, water and soil pollution, methane leakage risks, and geological risks. What can we learn from the American experience, publishing relevant laws and regulations of Shale Gas exploitation and environmental standards as soon as possible, exploring Shale Gas resource and evaluating environmental impact around, carrying out the whole process of supervision of Shale Gas exploration , establishing environmental emergency management mechanisms to achieve green Shale Gas exploitation in China`s future large-scale mining of Shale Gas , not only has theoretical value, but also practical significance.
