眼针疗法具有操作简便，效果显著，无明显副作用的特点。符文彬教授临床运用眼针疗法经验丰富，运用整体辨证及经络辨证思想，结合中医经典理论，提炼出精当的选穴方法，减少患者因针灸治疗取穴多而产生的二次疼痛，符合临床中患者需要，治疗疾病疗效迅速确切，在临床实践中对于痛风性关节炎、坐骨神经痛、急性腰扭伤、哮喘急性发作等疾病有其独特的诊疗经验，值得推广借鉴。
