《数学课程标准》指出“数学阅读能力的培养是对学生各种能力培养的一个重要方面。”本文就农村小学数学教学活动中遭遇的现实问题引发的思考，以“提供材料保障数学阅读的前提、多渠道延伸感受数学阅读的张力”来培养学生的数学阅读的兴趣；采用“指导阅读文本，数学阅读三宝”的数学阅读策略来培养学生数学阅读能力；让学生知道数学阅读的价值，促进学生阅读的内需。
