The design points of a two-component injection mould with sliding core for a scroll-shaped cover was presented. The rigid and flexible plastic melt was injected respec-tively in the first and second run which can reduce the mould outline dimensions and de-mands for the space of injection moulding machine in manufacturing large scale two-compo-nent plastic parts, compared to traditional two-component injection mould with rotating core.
