Hospitals often bring together a large number of patients and pathogens can spread through a variety of approaches so as to causing cross infection. Enhancing the awareness of infection prevention is an effective measure to prevent and control the cross-infection in hospital accoding to the current status of cross-infection and corresponding precautions. A overrall review of the status of hospital infection and the strategies for hospital infection control in recent years will be presented.
