The Navigation Opening Bridge of Taizhou Bay Oversea Bridge is a double-tower double cable plane composite girder cable-stayed bridge with 488m main span. The bridge is located in marine environment at Jiaojiang estuary of Taizhou Bay with bad geological conditions, large tidal range and high wind velocity, high navigation grade and high requirement for endurance, so construction conditions are complicated. This paper introduces arrangement of spans, construction of restraint system, girder, cable, cable tower, pier and foundation as well as durable design, wind-resistant design and ship collision-resistant design, etc. to provide a reference for design of similar bridges.
