The technological principals and application of industrial organic wastewater by electrochemical technologies such as electro-chemical oxidation,electro-coagulation,electro-flotation and photoelectrocatalysis were summarized. The related advantageous and disadvantageous were discussed. Furthermore,the development direction and application prospects of the electrochemical technologies were expected.
