The design ideas and main parameters of the newly designed permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) were presented. A 2D ifnite element analysis mod-el of the motor was established by means of Ansoft/Max-well while static&dynamic performance of the motor was simulated, thus, the correctness of this model was veriifed.
