在线路初勘中使用SRTM/GDEM高程数据和Google Earth高清影像等开放的GIS资源,弥补了1∶5万地形图时效性差和精度低的不足。采用GlobalMapper、MicroDEM、GetScreen、Acad2kml等小型软件灵活组建GIS平台,可将初勘阶段收集的多种地理信息融合在一起开展路径优化设计。利用SRTM/GDEM还可对路径进行3D分析、计算高程断面图用于预排位。采用小型GIS软件改变了原始低效的选线工作模式,提高了初勘阶段现场设计的效率和深度。与专业GIS软件的对比表明小型GIS软件更适合初勘阶段的现场设计工作。

Open geographic information resources concluding elevation data of SRTM/GDEM and high-resolution images via Google Earth were applicated in preliminary survey of transmission line projects. The resources complemented the defects of 1:50000 topographic maps, such as bad timeliness and low precision. TheGIS platform was composedflexibly by small software, like GlobalMapper, MicroDEM, GetScreen and Acad2kml, which could mix many sorts of geographic information together collected in preliminary survey phase, and then carry out the path optimization in the same platform. SRTM/GDEM can also be used for analyzing 3D pattern of paths, calculating the proifle diagram of elevation used for pre-location. The application of small GIS softwares has changed the original operating model of path selection, improved the efficiency and depth of live design in preliminary survey phase. Comparison with professional GIS softwares has shown that small GIS softwares is more suitable for live design in preliminary survey phase.
