This paper introduced two forms of Corrosion Monitoring techniques (Electrical Resistance and Corrosion Coupons) and compared the corrosion rate in lab. The corrosion rate of ER probe is 4.89 times more than that of Corrosion Coupons. When there was pitting corrosion on the surface of ER probe element, the corrosion rate increased significantly.
