为扩展天气预报的服务范围,提高视频会商系统的灵活性,利用云视频软终端技术,对现有硬件视频会商系统进行升级改造。实践表明,基于云技术的天气会商系统不仅可以在资源优化配置的基础上改善高清图像、声音等数字资料的传输质量,而且实现了气象会商向乡镇基层部门的有效延伸,为日常天气会商和各类学术会议提供了更加灵活、自主的交流平台。这有利于提高气象部门应对突发性灾害天气的能力,进而为决策部门防灾减灾提供更有力的科技支撑。

By using the cloud video technique, the existing hardware video conference system was upgraded to expand weather-forecast service and improve the system’s flexibility. As a result, the transmission quality of image and sound was greatly improved by the optimum configuration of resources.What’s more, weather-forcast video conference services could reach the primary sector in villages and towns. Therefore, the upgraded conference system could provide more flexible and automatic communication platform for plenty of meteorological and academic conferences, which would surely enhance the ability to deal with sudden meteorological disaster and provide more accurate information for the disaster prevention of decision-making departments.
