城乡居民收入差距的扩大是中国经济发展中所面临的重要问题。其中城镇化是影响居民收入差距大小的重要原因之一。利用1985-2010年武汉市时间序列数据建立了一套能够反映城镇化水平与城乡居民收入差距之间的关联性的指标体系，实证分析了城镇化与收入差距之间的动态联系，并通过单位根检验发现泰尔指数和城镇化率都是一阶单整的。在进一步的协整检验中，还发现泰尔指数与城镇化率之间存在着长期均衡关系，误差修正模型的结果表明城镇化率与城乡居民收入差距之间的短期波动关系不明显。由此提出了以缩小居民收入差距来推进武汉新型城镇化建设的组合性政策建议。

Expanding income gap between urban and rural residents is an important issue in China's eco-nomic development.Urbanization is one of the important reasons that influence the income gap of resi-dents.This paper attempts to exploit Wuhan 1 985-2010 time series data to establish a correlation in-dicator system that reflects the level of urbanization and the income gap between urban and rural resi-dents.We also use the empirical analysis to find the dynamic link between urbanization and income gap.By the way,through unit root tests,we found the Theil index and the rate of urbanization is an order single whole.In further co-integration test,we also found there is a long-term equilibrium be-tween the Theil index and the urbanization rate.The results of the short-term model indicate that the relationship between short-term fluctuations in the rate of urbanization and the income gap between urban and rural residents is not obvious.Thus,we propose the combination of policy recommendations to narrow income gap to push forward the construction of the new urbanization of Wuhan.
