通过总结2002至2013年评价理论在中国的发展，发现无论在理论研究还是实际应用方面均取得了阶段性的成果。在理论研究方面，国内语言学家对评价本质和标准，评价子系统的再分类以及评价的实现手段等等进行了深入细致的研究。国内的应用研究涉及不同体裁的语篇分析、评价资源的翻译、外语教学、汉语中的评价机制等领域，印证了评价理论的普适性。在此基础上，还就评价理论国内研究的不足，以及未来的研究发展方向进行了思考。

This paper summarized the development of appraisal theory in China from 2002 to 2012 and proved that considerable achievements have been made in both theoretical research and practical applications .In the aspect of theoretical research , Studies have been carried out in details on the identification of nature and standard of evalua -tion as well as classification and realization of appraisal system .In application field ,wide studies have been under-taken covering discourse analysis in different genres ,translation of evaluative resource ,foreign language teaching and appraisal mechanism in Chinese ,which confirms the universality of appraisal theory .On this basis , this paper also discussed the shortage of domestic research and offers orientations of future studies .
