To ensure the training and educational quality of the five-year undergraduate of stomatology in clinical prac-tice stage, and taking the condition of our country and academy into consideration, we established and perfected a corre-sponding assessment system. The student's comprehensive practical ability is assessed in four aspects such as operation, theory, scientific research and medical ethics. The assessment system is objective and scientific. We not only pay attention to the students' mastery of theoretical knowledge, but also focus on clinical practice to analyze problems and develop clin-ical operations capabilities. In terms of total effect, this assessment model is an important method to guarantee the effect of professional training of oral medical students.
