在经济全球化和教育国际化的背景下，应用型本科急需突破应试性的英语教育，探索一条新的英语教育之路，以符合新形势对英语教育提出的更高要求和应用型本科人才培养的需求。文章通过构建生活化的英语教育模式，探索如何将英语教育与学生的专业学习、日常生活和就业紧密结合，在以校园为主要生活场的环境中习得英语并为自身生活服务。

In the context of economic globalization and educational internationalization ,new and more appropriate approaches of English education are in urgent need in application-orientated universities so as to reform the original exam-oriented English edu-cation system as well as meet the higher challenges of English education and the necessities of fostering application-orientated students .The paper is tended to construct a life -based pattern of English teaching ,which closely integrates English education with students’ life including academic program ,daily life and employment so as to achieve the goal of studying English in the life and for the life .
