While promoting the economic grow th ,the British national debt and paper currency led to some problems such as aggravated tax and inflation .William Cobbett ,a Radical ,criticized the infringement on the ordinary people by the national debt policies ,putting forward a series of proposals to solve the national debt and depreciation of the money currency . His criticism pointed out the potential risk of the national debt ,and provided the important basis for the later generation to solve the similar problem .
