基于信息技术对贵州彝文楷书字体开发至今还没有专项研究。彝文楷书是彝族的传世主流应用字体。彝文计算机楷书印刷字体是实现彝文字体规范化、标准化建设与彝族传统书法字体的有效结合，同时也是实现彝族传世字体在计算机中的数字化应用。

There is no monographic research so far has been done on the kaishu font of Guizhou Yi scripts for the purpose of using it on computer. Kaishu is a major font of Yi scripts among various literatures of Yi Nationality for generations. By developing kaishu font, this research aims to standardize Yi scripts as well as incorporate the traits of traditional calligraphy, and finally expedite the digitalization of traditional Yi scripts.
