It introduces a design of brake -structured bicycle lock , including its background , design require-ments, structure, working principle and so on .Through the establishment of the3D model and finite element model of the brake-structured bicycle lock , it conducts analysis on the strength of the bicycle lock's rivet-con-nected part and its brake housing .It shows the peak load of the rivets and the brake housing when being de-stroyed .The numerical results demonstrate that when the lock body is destroyed by thieves, the entire brake sys-tem will inevitably be destroyed at the same time and thus the bicycle will not be working .Therefore , this kind of new lock can greatly improve the theft -proof performance of the bike and have broad market prospects .
