郑州市作为中原经济区的核心城市，经济发展规模大，水资源保证程度低。本文分析了郑州市水资源供需平衡、供水潜力和水资源承载能力，提出了水资源保障的工程和非工程措施，为郑州社会经济发展提供水资源保障。

as the core city in central Plains economy Zone, Zhengzhou city has a huge set of economic activities, whereas the water resources supporting capacity is rather weak. Based on the analysis on demand supply balance, supply potential ,and bearing capacity of water resources of Zhengzhou city, some engineering and non-engineering measures pertaining to water resources are put forward to ensure the social ,economic development of Zhengzhou city.
