The course of metal materials and heat treatment is a fundamental specialty course of highly specialized character, abstract theory and too many concepts. To improve students'interest, according to the characteristics of the course, the authors carry out teaching reform and exploration with different level, diversification and multi-ways. Such measures as introducing new lesson, stimulating students'interest and summarizing achieved certain results.
