对“中国”、“民族”、“中华”以及“华夏”等概念的梳理可以看出，中华民族的形成在历史上经历了一个漫长的、多民族融合的、自发的过程。近代以后，在外来压力之下，又经历了一段自觉的过程。借鉴前苏联、美国的民族政策，“中国梦”要想实现，必须寻找共同价值指引，强大内在力量，即实现“中华民族”作为一个“国族”的自觉认同。
對“中國”、“民族”、“中華”以及“華夏”等概唸的梳理可以看齣，中華民族的形成在歷史上經歷瞭一箇漫長的、多民族融閤的、自髮的過程。近代以後，在外來壓力之下，又經歷瞭一段自覺的過程。藉鑒前囌聯、美國的民族政策，“中國夢”要想實現，必鬚尋找共同價值指引，彊大內在力量，即實現“中華民族”作為一箇“國族”的自覺認同。
대“중국”、“민족”、“중화”이급“화하”등개념적소리가이간출，중화민족적형성재역사상경력료일개만장적、다민족융합적、자발적과정。근대이후，재외래압력지하，우경력료일단자각적과정。차감전소련、미국적민족정책，“중국몽”요상실현，필수심조공동개치지인，강대내재역량，즉실현“중화민족”작위일개“국족”적자각인동。
A survey of such concepts as China, nationality, Chinese, Huaxia (ancient name for China) shows that the forming of the Chinese nation had experienced a very long phase of spontaneous integration of various ethnic groups. Moreover, after modern times, a self-consciousness period followed the former owing to the foreign invasion. In light of the ethnic policies of former Soviet Union and the United States of America, the fulfillment of “the Chinese Dream” must be guided with a common value and needs a powerful endogenous force, namely, the self-conscious identity of “the Chinese nation”.
