病理学是研究疾病的形态学改变为主的基础医学学科，病理学实验教学通过观察疾病的形态学变化，帮助学生掌握各种疾病的病变，通过将虚拟切片替代以往实验课大多采用的HE切片进行教学效果的对比分析，结果表明，虚拟切片数学可明显提高教学效果。
