After analyzing the characteristics of welding torch motion device ,this paper proposes a new type of welding torch motion control scheme .Based on the reciprocating up-and down motion of welding torch ,the requirements of welding torch motion is put forward ,it provide a basis for the design of the new welding torch control system .
