In this paper, the practical problems in the process of centrifugal compressor impeller’s overspeed test are discussed, and then the main factors which influence this process are analyzed in depth. The methods of resolving these problems are proposed to improve the quality and efficiency of impeller’ s overspeed test and avoid doing the overspeed test for the impeller repeatedly.
