This paper introduces the composition and working principle of the angular displacement underwater settlement sen-sor. Long-term measurement for the purposes of the settlement of soft soil foundation, we made the settlement sensor had high accuracy, high sensitivity, high anti-interference, and stability characteristics by using the innovative mechanical drive device, electric device and digital devices, which had good effect of field application. It can be used for both the long-term measure-ment of settlement of soft soil foundation under water, and the measurement of land subsidence of soft ground.
