工业化与城镇化互为支撑、互为依托。近些年，由于承接产业转移，江西沿江区域依托资源优势加快了经济发展速度，工业化和城镇化水平整体的到一定程度提升。但整体上，工业化和城镇化仍是各行其道。通过对江西沿江区域各县市区UR/IR的测算，判断出该区域工业化与城镇化协调性仍比较差，并对该区域进行工业化与城镇化的协调发展进行了有利条件和制约因素分析，并就联动发展机制提出相应对策。

Industrialization and urbanization support and rely on mutually. In recent years,due to undertaking industrial trans-fer and relying on resource advantages,the economic development along the Yangtze River in Jiangxi Province has been speed-ing up, and the level of industrialization and urbanization has been improving to a certain extent as a whole. However, both the industrialization and the urbanization are still going its own way on the whole. The paper, which is based on the measure-ment and calculation of the UE/IR in different areas along the Yangtze River in Jiangxi Province,draws the conclusion that the coordination between the industrialization and the urbanization in the region is still poor. It also makes an analysis on the favor-able conditions and the restrictive factors of the coordinated development of the industrialization and the urbanization in the re-gion,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.
