高尿酸血症俗称通风，是嘌呤代谢障碍使患者尿酸累积而造成的疾病。尿酸以钠盐的形式沉积在患者的软组织、关节以及肾脏中，引起炎性反应，疼痛难隐。现代医学认为该病治宜清利湿热为主，笔者采用“活血化瘀、通络止痛”的中药佐治通风，可以快速改善局部红肿热痛症状，缓解或消散炎症，取得了显著疗效。
