Petroleomics technology is a basic technology regarding crude oil and petroleum products as molecular aggregate, analyzing and forecasting their composition, physical properties and reactivity from the molecular level through detailed composition analytical techniques and molecular modeling techniques. In this paper, the petroleomics technology was introduced, and application of the petroleomics technology in China, United States and Japan were discussed.
