上世纪80年代以Fauconnier为代表的一批美国学者,以概念隐喻为源头、空间理论为雏形提出了概念合成理论,其宗旨就是试图揭示言语意义在线构建( on-line construction )背后的那座认知冰山。汉语新复合词跟随时代的发展层出不穷,创意无限,妙趣横生,值得摸索。汉语复合词一直是语言学研究的重点。过去的研究重点是划分其与短语的界限以及对复合词出生地的定测;研究角度主要是转换生成语言学,结构分析、视点相对性等理论。所以,本文以分析大量的新汉语复合词语料库为动机,以概念整合理论为指导,旨在分析汉语复合词尤其是那些新鲜出炉的汉语复合词意义产生的过程,试图进一步增强概念整合理论对汉语的阐释力,提供一个新的识解汉语复合词的角度。

Conceptual Blending Theory , originated from Conceptual Metaphor Theory and developed from Mental Space Theory , was first proposed by Fauconnier in the 1980 s with purpose of exposing the iceberg of human cognition under the tips of on -line construction of language .Chinese fresh compounds are interesting and worth to study .Though compounds have always been an in-dispensable part of Chinese study , the focuses have been the delimitation of compounds from phrases or the birthplace of compounds with the perspectives mainly from Transformational -generative Grammar, or other theories like compositionality .Therefore, in-spired by largely emerged and just fresh Chinese compounds , this paper aims to explore how are the semantics of those words reached from the Conceptual Blending Theory perspective , hoping to intensify the explanatory power of Conceptual Blending Theory as well as to provide a new way of construing Chinese compounds .
