新课改以来，按照小学语文“识字教学重点在低年级”的精神，小学一、二年级学生的识字量由原来的1250个增加到1800个。识字量的增大让不少老师感到吃力，如果一味地让学生死记硬背，必将适得其反。如何借助小班化的春风，落实新课程理念，对低年段学生的识字有着“润物细无声”的效果呢？那就要让识字“随风潜入夜”。“风”从哪里来？教室环境布置---营造识字氛围；小组合作学习---提高识字效率；多种方式激励---注重识字评价。
