Firstly ,10 kinds of 155mm proper motion howitzers and eight indicators of evaluation are selected ,and a three-tier evaluation system is established .Then ,the membership functions which are used to calculate memberships are se-lected according to the characteristics of different types of indicators .Finally fuzzy relationship matrixs are calculated ,and further more ,the result of the combat effectiveness evaluation and the final sorting of 10 kinds of 155mm proper motion how-itzers can be got .
