本文较系统的分析了郑绍周教授肾虚理论治疗多发性硬化的学术思想。肾虚是多发性硬化的发病基础，肾虚有三个方面的含义：先天禀赋不足（易感性）、劳累疾病伤肾（获得性）、疾病本身伤肾（自身性）；补肾是治疗和预防多发性硬化的基本方法，在补肾的同时往往和其他方法结合起来，形成补肾解毒法、补肾通络法、补肾化痰法、补肾活血解毒法、补肾化痰通络法等等，正确把握扶正和祛邪的辩证关系是取得临床疗效的关键。

This paper systematically analyzed academic thought of Prof. Zheng Shaozhou in treating of multiple sclerosis. Kidney deficiency theory included three meanings, which were congenital deficiency (susceptivity), kidney damage by overexertion (acquired), and kidney damage by diseases (autogenously). The basic method of treatment and prevention is Bushen. Other methods can be combined with Bushen to treat the disease. Such as Bushen Jiedu, Bushen Tongluo, Bushen Huatan, and Bushen Huoxue and so on. The key of efficacy is the relationship between Fuzheng and Quxie in clinic.
