The ARP virus is one of the common threat of security of the campus network, the threat from the protocol itself, it is dif icult to eradicate. This paper analyzes the ARP protocol vulnerabilities, the work process of ARP protocol, the ARP deception, and then, discussion common methods to deal with the ARP virus by optimizing protocol and system environment from two aspects.
