He has written many articles, which involve various fields. As a prominent writer of practical writings, the majority of his writing style is practical writing. Ouyang xiu has not only defined the basic properties of practical writing from the aspects of literary forms and literary application, also constructed the general framework of practical writing theory, which advocates practical writing should be practical, concise, appropriate. The Ouyang xiu’s practical writ-ing abides by the rule of“comprehensive and practical style”, creating a new generation of literary form that has a unique effect.
