耐候钢具有良好的力学性能、可焊性和耐环境腐蚀性,文章论述了耐候钢的优点及发展现状,介绍了三座采用耐候钢桥梁的设计情况,并进行了经济效益对比分析。实践证明,采用耐候钢后工程造价基本相当或增加很少,而全寿命周期的成本却大大降低,耐候钢在钢结构桥梁上具有一定的推广应用价值。

Weathering steel has good mechanical properties, solderability and resistance to environmental corrosion. This article elaborates the advantages and current development of weathering steel and introduces the three design conditions of the weathering steel bridges, and compared the economic benefit. The prac-tice has proved that the application of weathering steel makes the project cost almost the same or increased very little, but the life-cycle cost is greatly reduced, which has worthy using in steel structure bridge.
